Give me another month and I will have a all "raptor" trails to explore with stops for DV on the website to download.

Been working on it off and on over the past few months. Has a LOT of old mines and other none tourist items to explore and see.

When we visit, we're usually in the Furnace Creek area... so my recommendations branch out from there.

All day trip heading south out of Furnace Creek: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/36....2m2!1d-117.0885933!2d35.8596233!1m0!3e0?hl=en

Mengel Pass, Barker Ranch, Goler Wash, Ballarat Ghost Town: No pics of Barker or Ballarat... it got dark and we had a 2 hour drive back to camp.

That was our optional route from Teakettle if we backtracked from The Racetrack. We took Lippincott Road the to Saline Valley then back to Panamint Springs.

Lippincott is the shorter route, even if it is sketchy and definitely at your own risk. But I prefer the drive over Hunter. We actually climbed into the snow, saw deer, then dropped back down into a valley full of Joshua Trees. Lots of high speed trail once you drop into the valley too. Hell, there was even a surprise sand pit with warning signs saying, don't stop or you'll be stuck! No pics of that sign... we we're haulin' about 70, I didn't lift, and the sand bogged us down to about 50.
