11/22/11- place order for silver SCREW with lux, nav, and hood graphics.

Yesterday I send my sales guy an email asking him how much he'd charge me for the geriatric step on the tailgate.

I got a response this morning that said it was too late. The order has been processed at the plant.

Excited, I ask him if I have a VIN.

He said "probably next week" and that the order is "not in the order bank anymore" so he cannot change it.

Does this sound right to y'all?

Is my truck in some sort of Ford purgatory? Not in the order bank... Nor does it have a VIN. Sup wit dat?

Order's pulled for production, VIN is not yet assigned. Sounds about right...

Ford will pull an order with Priorty 10-19 and assign it Priorty 01

Should only be a day or two?? Sometimes just overnight.

Does that mean if I call SVT today they could give me additional info other than "congratulations your order is processing!"....."no chit shirlock it's been in 'processing' since August 26th!" lol
