Are we looking at the same truck? Aside from grill, lights, bumper, HUD, and dual live valves on the R and 37, they’re the same truck. Recaros are all black now but they’re the same thing as before.
That’s like saying the gen 2 is the same as gen 3 because they share the same engine.
It’s a refresh yes. Not a new truck but it does feel a lot more like how it should have came out originally. Won’t know how different it truly is until see one in person (hopefully mine) but up front it looks and will hopefully feel like an entirely new vehicle. IMHO.

Gen 3 vs Gen 2 was an entirely new truck from top to bottom. The only thing that was unchanged was the powertain, which also got updated and revised.

This change is slightly more than 2018 to 2019, because this time they also changed lights, grill, and front bumper. It’s not a new truck no matter how much people want it to be.
