Just trying to get a sense of the biggest trailer you guys have pulled safely. I've got a family friend who has an old camper that I'm told is over 20ft that he wants to get rid of - so free is me lol. Any pics or advice would be appreciated because the biggest trailer I've pulled is a sled trailer. I think max tow weight was around 10k if im not mistaken.

Going to depend on the weight of the trailer. I was pulling a 28' Enclosed car hauler with my trailer. It weighed in at 10k. I was bending the frame from pulling that thing with my SCrew. Also, at that much weight at 60mph (the fastest I could safely tow with it, truckers passing me would push me over a lane. Side winds, same thing. The Raptor just doesn't have the weight to pull large trailer. Now, the same trailer with 3k of weight in it (somewhere around 6500#) I could do 75mph but the wind gusts would still push the rig sideways.

Search for "Towing Review" thread that I wrote up almost 2 years ago. It will answer a lot of your questions ahead of time.

Screw is rated to 8,000 lbs Scab 6,000 lbs. I have towed a 20ft open deck car hauler with my Screw. The trailer is 1500 - 2000 lbs. Empty you might forget it is back there. I have loaded my near 6000 lb H3 on it and my 5000 lb Scout (seperate trips of course) and could run 65-75 MPH very comfortably. I did notice that the front end would feel light with a good cross wind.

i have towed my 8500 pound regulator and 1500 pound trailer with a distribution hitch @ 55 MPH with no issues.

Not sure if i would tow much more than that unless it was for a short distance.

This is my old 5.4 Scab pulling my 24ft loaded with around 6800lbs. Handled it with zero problems with a weight distribution hitch. I would not tow it far with out the distribution hitch...

Have to keep in mind if you have a screw or scab.

I tow ~6,500 lbs relatively regularly towing my drag HD truck to the track. I have towed as much as 10,000 lbs with another 1,500 lbs of payload in the truck. It was REALLY pushing things, I had 18,000 lbs rolling down the highway lol. I had to take the fenders off the trailer because I was over double the payload capacity of the trailer and the tires were rubbing the fenders. I wouldn't recommend doing it, but I was an hour from home and couldn't turn down the deal on the pavers for our patio. Truck actually stopped and accelerated fine, it was just riding on the bumpstops lol. I was more nervous for my trailer than I was for the truck! 8k+ lbs on a trailer meant for 4500 lol.

Pic of my usual load, and few pics of the 10k lb load with ~1,500 lbs in the truck
