San Bernardino, CA – November 29, 2012: Glen Helen’s Bud Feldkamp, in conjunction with event sponsor, South Point Resort and Casino, announce the running of the 8th annual Baja Cup Challenge on Saturday December 8th, 2012.
The Baja Cup Challenge includes all classes of off-road trucks and buggies. The over two mile course, utilizing all types of natural terrain, is designed for desert cars to achieve top speeds! Drivers will race the perimeter of Glen Helen giving spectators a fantastic view of the racing action.
Pre-running 7am-9am on Saturday Morning, any Vehicle is welcome or motorcycle, or UTV can pre-run (must have a helmet). Come and enjoy the fun of pre running the same track that racers will be racing on during the day. This will give you bragging rights that you drove the same Baja Cup race track as the top off road racers.
The racing begins on Saturday with an 11am start for all Classes and UTV’s. Mark your calendar for this awesome event. Call 909-384-9342 for race entry or more information.
Entries are only $300 for the Truck classes; UTV classes are $50. No membership is needed! Yamaha 6 Hour Endurance team entry is $90; Ironman class is $45. There is no increase in entry fee for post entries for these races! Camping is free with paid admission!
