So Ive had the boost tubes on my 18 for a couple years now. Always had a problem that when you tighten clamps to where they should be, underhood gets warm the tube crushes at the mouth and boot pops off. So im stuck leaving clamp half tight so it crushes less and pops off less.
I see now the have updated their design to include a crush sleeve in the tube like oem.
I reached out to them about acquiring the sleeve to put in mine, they said it couldn’t be added, but to provide pics if its crushing.
To which response was that they could sell me another at a discount.
Am I out of line to think If there was a known issue to require a design change, you might back your product and warranty an early purchaser?
