Anybody know where we can find 93 in Utah? I know they say 91 in elevation is equivalent to 93 elsewhere, just wondering if we know of anywhere that sells 93.

The general rule of thumb is that for every 1000 feet of elevation above sea level the RON decreases by .5 due to the lower air density. So an engine that requires 93 in LA will only require 91 in Salt Lake (elevation 4200’). That is why premium is 91 in Salt Lake, Denver, etc., but 93 in LA, Seattle, etc.

If you have an engine tune that requires 95 at sea level, then you’ll need 93 in SLC. The easiest way to achieve this is by purchasing racing fuel and blending it to your desired level. Google “racing fuel” and you’ll find many locations in Salt Lake.
