Not to bring up the past, but can’t believe all the fun I missed in this thread. It’s always amazed me how feelings can be so hurt by words typed by strangers. I’m guilty of it too.

that said, when I was young and crazy, I used to pour a pint of octane boost into the tank of my motorcycle and damn did that sheeyat work. There was also a gas station along Rt. 9 in NJ that had a pump dedicated to 103 octane. This was before cars were computers. That stuff made my 1972 Plymouth Duster 340 fly on the Palisades Pkwy.
