I'm late to the party.

The difference in performance between a gen 1 and 2 is going to be pretty slim when compared to a built truck. The 2 will be a bit quicker stock of course, but not hugely so.

All I'm interested in with the 17s is whether they actually fixed the weakspots of the gen 1.
Steering rack/pump, rear leafs, stronger axles, etc.
If they have done so, then I'll pick one up to use as a beater work truck.:tizzle:

Steering will more than likely be electronic like the normal F150

I hope the F so! That would be a plus. But the GEN 2, is worthless without Gold Shocks.

Did I read that the Sarcasm will go away when the Gen 2 is released? I don't think so. That's a FRF tradition. :flipthebird:

Electronic steering is not a good thing.
It's even weaker than the 6.2 racks.
