Hi, new member. Long time raptor owner though. Traded in my 2014 Blk crew raptor with 175k on a another 2014 Triple Black Shelby whipplecharged 50k miles. Never been in snow sat for months at a time etc. I changed that quickly. Ran like dog, stalled, backfired, threw codes lean banks and misfire cylinder 5. Spent a couple days under hood, changed plugs, cleaned coil pak condensation out, etc. Come to find out it was a 75 cent 3 inch vac line completely dry rotted elbows so line fell completely off next to cylinder 5 which other end runs straight up to thottle body valve. Completely hidden by curve in supercharger / valve body that hooks over cylinder 5; fab’d up a line problem solved. But she likes to wheel hop at launch so probably going to need traction bars 1st mod.
Looked at some used 2018/19s shelbys w/20k but GM didnt want to move too much off prices. I like my 6.2 and like all Blk then found this. One owner had it shipped from ford to Shelby vegas on sticker. Looks like they gave him free intercooler upgrade no charge on shelby invoices. Has optional stealth bumper/R rear. Full skid plates option underneath no charge also. Lights are wired to aux 2; aux 1 runs a ultrasonic deer/zombie repellant ha!

Congrats and welcome aboard. Nice truck. Honestly not sure the wing goes with a dirt truck. But it’s cool if you like it!

Enjoy

Don’t really know on HP. They advertised 575 in 14’. But the upgraded intercooler option was a 1200$ option so was prob capable of more then. Orig owner said they gave him freebee cuz they had truck for so long and told him it was in 650hp range. Alot of options you could select were called Xtreme options. Looks like by spring 15’ they took that choice away and gave you most of them like intercooler upgrade, king suspension and method wheels for a bigger package price tag(baja). I like the fact he kept factory beadlocks cuz thats what I had on my last one. Truck was dropped like 6 months before being built in november 14. By april 15’ they were rebranding them baja I think with 700-750 hp. Dont know what injector, pulley setup was different from late 14s? It has 3.25 pulley on invoice. I think later bajas had the same. NGK Plugs were not gapped when I took them out so I gapped new ones to .30 .
I would say the wing definetly doesnt help with mpg or her shimmy above 80mph! The tonneu cover was an orig owner add on not Shelby American. I tried to see if dealer would keep for a credit but no deal so I will be lookin to sell. Kept the bed clean though as its never been used. I like the chase rack with 50 inch actuator bar shelby sells from ADD. Would like some type of bed cover that would work with it. Not sure if any do? If not the tire carrier some of the bajas got as an option with long travel suspension is nice but $$. I got to lose that front plate bracket. Only need to run one plate in back in ma.
