2013 has reinforced frame?

According to SDHQ they were forced to make changes to their bump stop kit because Ford added additional steel to reinforce the slots in the frame. Interesting. Anyone have anything further on this?

That's interesting. To me that would be like Ford admitting the frame has a weak spot and it needed re-enforcing. I guess I'll be taking a closer look at the 13's.

Makes no sense that Ford would put complete R&D testing, crash and many other things for this type of change into a frame structure and then resigned the whole truck a year later. Either there was a structure change to the 2013 and there will not be a body style change or other way around diffiently not both!!! Not efficient and companies must be efficient to survive. Only this would happen was if people were dying in crash and it was a recall... Not happening
