I have one of them, they are fantastic. Practice with it though, and flying over water is risky...ask me how I know this....

I have the phantom 1 from DJI. it works great, and batteries are inexpensive. I matched it to a hard case I found on ebay, and so I can check it when I travel. using it in the mountains is awesome.

only downside is that you don't get a first person view from it like the later models, and it doesn't have a gimbel so you have to rotate the drone rather than the camera, but gimbels in most cases costs more than the drones. For basic work, it's pretty cool. my youtube site has some of my videos.
