Didn't bother to air down. mud/sand and baja mode were stupid. Just turned off the traction control and turned on 4wd.

As you can see from the picture. social distancing was zero issue. so here's another shout out to the ass hat judge that closed all the county beach access points the next day, yet left all of the south padre city access points open because the city and county are not on the same page. ******* retard.

picture was taken a 1/2 mile north of county beach access point 6. $5 bucks at the gate for veterans. $14 for everyone else.

gotta say, it was the best way to go to the beach ever

Nice - that's been my experience, too. Raptors don't need to air down at the beach.

Unless, you are going down the coast from sea rim state park to high island before Galveston then it’s a good idea to air down cause the debris and washed up trash is a bit much through there. My guess 1 other truck might choose to take that route per day if not every other day before anyone ventures through there.

Depends on how soft the sand is...certain areas of OBX and Jersey your asking to become a YouTube video.
I've been to the OBX. Carolina Beach can be worse - every time I go there I see multiple vehicles stuck.

Yep the north end in Carova is the same way. It was so chewed up last year I was aired down to 18 pounds 4 high with the rear locked And my slip light was popping on from time to time.
The tow trucks were making a killing.

Once you get access, there are many miles to go north. Virtually deserted. Once you venture into the park area, the beach gets a little narrow. Zero cell service. Baja mode then switch back to 2wd with the locker off gives a fun and surprisingly smooth ride.
