You vs the general public. Lower MPG would result in a loss of millions of dollars per year vs virtually no sales lost because it's configured the way it is.

I’d be with you if it was all F150’s but the Raptor is a whole separate certification.

We’re buying them configured the way they are because right now we’re a captive audience. There’s nobody offering a truck you don’t have to set a bunch of switches and dials to get going off road that’s as off road capable the way the Rap is.

It's more complicated than that. Manufacturers are rated on the average MPGs of their entire fleet. They need every ounce they can get.

I can understand that. Ok, so ditch the 5.0 offering :)
