Random engine rubber bands

Has anyone else noticed random rubber bands hanging off the engine components? What would these be from? Shipping?

The best part is, they are re-usable!

They were on mine as well; I removed them along with all the random tape bits that weren’t doing anything.

I've seen it; those are using during assembly at the plant. Safe to throw away.

No, but i have found a few random plugs. first time i dropped the skid plate, out fell an orange plug/cap.

first time pulled engine cover there was a green plug/cap laying there.

wierd assembly stuff i guess

Rubber bands were hanging in mine also.
Noticed after driving it home after purchased

One of my rubber bands was actually wrapped in between the brake master cylinder and the booster. I had to break the bolts loose from the booster to remove it.
