The Raptor Wave

Sounds good!

I always wave, gen 1 or gen 2. I probably get about 50% wave backs.

I've tried many a time and have gotten only a few waves back. Most seem too cool to acknowledge anyone. Where as when I had a jeep I got a wave back 95% of the time. Oh well, at least I'm attempting to be kind and reach out to fellow owners.

I notice this in Florida. I drive a Gen 1. I get a wave back from Gen 1 drivers about 90% of the time. Gen 2’s only about 40% of the time. Guess they are jealous. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I would guess nowadays so many people are busy ******** with phones and other stuff while driving that they don't even notice a truck or a wave.

I was a jeep guy for decades, the wave was mostly from fellow Wrangler owners.
Also, I still get the wave from other Harley/ metric riders.
But, locally there’s very few Raptor owners here, so I rarely get the wave.

I’ve only had my Raptor about a month and have but only seem to get about 1/4 of drivers waving back. Lots here in DFW, guess they’re too busy fighting the traffic. I used to wave back in my Sportbike days and even further back every Mustang and Cobra would do a neutral engine rev. It’s more of a respect and acknowledgement that I like your ride.

Mistakenly waved at a Gen1 shortly after taking delivery of mine.

The look of disgust and shame that I received in return was legendary!

Will only waive at disgruntled Gen 1 owners now.

Got my first raptor wave back today. I have waived so many times to no avail, however today was a new day, lol.
