I got to where I am by working hard because I know I am compulsive and am materialistic. I've also been in the boat where I was living pay check to pay check before I was where I am now. If I can't afford it, I don't buy it. It's a simple process. I see no reason to save tens of thousands.... just because. I *might* want something later. If you are saving for a house, sure. But that's a different story for a different time.

You pride yourself on good deals, and I applaud you for that. I pride myself on not giving a shit and shop wherever I want and not look at prices. A lot less stress in my life that way. I will pay for convenience. Convenience has a price.

in any case, i guess it depends on how loyal you are to ford. i have a good buddy who is a ford fanboy and he will never buy anything but an f-series. just how he is, he could get one that fell apart on him and he'd still buy another one.
