Actually, I've had the same problem a couple of times...I wired a set of back-up lights to #5 and have my dashcam on #6. #6 stays on all the time, but I've noticed that #5 seems to have turned itself on at times. I'm sure at some point I pissed off traffic behind me at night with the Rigid BU...
Yep, it does display at an angle on the window. Maybe ford was thinking it would be more obvious/"attention getting" to the eye if it didn't lineup with the plane of the dash, hood, horizon, etc.
Don't include me in your f*cking list. My problem in the first couple of hundred miles was simply bad fuel from the dealer and I clearly updated my post to reflect that.
I am in complete agreement with Smurfslayer...your obsession with all this is crossing the border into psychosis. Is...
The truck looks great, but even it pales in comparison to your plane. I did a bit of reading about the "Sexy Sue" online - what a fantastic aircraft! Congratulations on both!
Mounts under the driver's side. There should be instructions in the box with the module, but it is pretty simple. Most difficult part is getting it zip tied in. I ended up using one zip tie and some double sided tape to hold it in position. If you've already received it and didn't have...
Congratulations on the new truck! Based on where you are parked it looks like I could see it in person the next time my wife drags me on one of her pilgramages to the Silos.
Congratulations on the new truck... looks great!
On a side note, if the posts in this tread do not get that ***** Sasquatch banned, then I'm done with this site. I understand this is a pretty wide open forum, but for that idiot to **** on a new member like that is pretty much the end of the...
All six switches operate the same - the positive leads terminate in the engine bay and are hot only in the on position with the ignition on. There is a set of pass through wires that runs from the engine bay to the interior, but those are only hot if connected to the hot leads from the switches...
Mine had the same issue and I took it the dealer. Had the service manager ride along and he confirmed the surging. After they spent a day with it, they said their other raptor on the lot did the same thing so they believed it was normal...
Bottom line, after I started running 93 octane and...
For the in cab wires, check right at floor level under the passenger side fuse box. Everything I read said they were up by the glove box, but after digging around for more than two hours, I found mine right at the bottom beneath the fuse box.
...and the wires closest to the passenger fender...
As I was leaving the house this morning I was wondering why my front sensors haven't been working! I almost always back into parking spots, but in my garage, the front sensors never went off and I assumed it was a setting...now I know I just don't have them!! I've had 'em on all 4 of the Ford...
If you are on the fence about it, and if you've not owned a truck before (or not had much experience driving one) and your decision to keep it or not is going to come down to a few mile test drive, I would be surprised if you do take delivery. A supercrew is not a small vehicle and this one is...
I have no doubt the shit fuel that the dealer put in the truck was causing the engine to surge/lose power/misfire/whatever. Under acceleration and even at constant speed, the truck would lurch consistently...and I assume that the inconsistent power delivery, combined with a transmission still in...
Absolutely feel the difference. With the gas the dealer provided, my truck was surging and transmission acted like it was on crack...hard shifting, fell out of gear once, got hung in 6th once. After burning through the cheap gas, I put 93 octane in it and it feels like a different truck. I'm...
