Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think it works that way....Strangely I think it's possible for someone to order a Raptor right now and still get it sooner than some of us who have been waiting since the order banks opened. I think it has more to do with dealer allocation than order entry date. So theoretically you can still get one IF you're extremely lucky.

I believe your right, I actually placed 2 different orders. My first order was thru a small town dealership that had a single allocation, I placed that order 2 weeks before my current order. The current order had 7 raptor orders in front of mine so I debated on which order to go with cause I didn't want to wait forever. I finally decided the savings (50 over invoice) was worth he longer wait. So here we are 2 months later and I received my vin today from the dealership with 7 orders in front of mine and the dealer with the single allocation is still unscheduled

I ordered Aug 3rd, DORA AUG 6th, VIN Oct 9th, Build week of Oct 22nd, and supposed ETA of Nov 5th. So I'm thinking you still have a little bit of a wait.

12 weeks starts next week........glad I sold both my cars back then too.:emotions122::emotions122: I'm sure the wife enjoys me driving her brand new car! This wasn't bad when I ordered my Shelby since I had another car to drive around -- now this is just agonizing. But 2 weeks........you better find a hobby! Sometimes I think there is no rhyme or reason to the pull -

Now correct me If I'm wrong, but I do believe that customer orders are last to get pulled in the scheme of things - stock orders come first. Dealer I ordered from just got 3 in stock just the way I want them.......but they're black instead of silver. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I just meant I think it's silly for guys who ordered well before the 13's were being built to lament the build time. Of course it's long, and should have been expected to be.

I can see that orders may not be filled in a linear, First In First Out, manner. But if I placed my order the first week the order bank was open, I'd not be surprised to see it taking 12 weeks to be filled.

Not that it makes the wait any easier. Something awesome is coming to us. Feels like a kid waiting for christmas. I just ordered mine 9/27, and it feels like it was 3 months ago.

Of course a long build time was expected. We knew the build start dates when the order banks opened. Realistically I figured November/December if I got lucky. Reason the wait is more agonizing and why I bring up the 15 week wait so far is that you see guys who just placed their order and are already getting build dates. I'm not complaining, just expressing my agony. Some of us still have several people in front of us on our dealer orders and no build date in sight. I have no reason to complain anyways, the dealer can't do anything about it. At this point I don't think I'll see my Raptor this year. Besides what's wrong with complaining? It makes people feel better :) Just as I'm sure complaining about the complainers makes you feel better too :)

Fair enough.

I just wanted to help clarify what to expect for actual wait times for those who recently placed orders, and I don't think 12-16 weeks is the norm.

Oh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dang !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shoot ! ... I better look for a clunker... already sold my car a month ago.. and driving this rental thinking I would only need it for 2 months...Lol

allocation my A$$... told me 6-8 weeks...

Guess my wait is nothing compare to u guys that are still waiting..

Thanx for the heads up guys!

I did the same thing. Sold my 2000 F150 Harley-Davidson. ;( I ordered my 2013 Screw on Aug 20th. Got my VIN on Oct 1 and build date was Oct 8. Called SVT on Oct 10 and my truck is "Awaiting shipment". Hopefully I will get it by Thanksgiving. I hate driving my Shelby GT 500 as a daily driver. :lol2:
