Ok bro. Once again you're assuming my intelligence level..I understand all these things perfectly fine.
You’re the only one bringing up intelligence, which is irrelevant. Like I stated earlier, it’s subject matter. And you’ve proven many times over that you have no concept of engines design, performance, vehicles, or the auto industry in general.
Precisely the response I expected lol
Umm ok?
Once again I never did say one time that the 5.2L should or could be used. Look thru my posts and you'll clearly see I was a forced induction 5.0 fan since the V6 was suggested. I'm also a big 6.2 SVT engine fan. Works great in gen1, would prefer it over the V6 in the gen2.. super reliable and a proven workhorse.
Are you a simpleton? Do you read what you post? Nobody cares what you’re a “fan of”, the 6.2 was never an “SVT” engine nor was it exclusive to Raptor. It was designed as nothing more than a replacement for the 5.4 3V in Super Duty and E-Series. It’s heavy, slow, and about the worst engine you could choose for a halo product like Raptor. Hence why it’s now discontinued even in E-Series.
You're a condescending *****. I'm sure it's working great in real life outside this forum
No, I just call out people like yourself who talk a big game and not only have nothing to back it up, but don’t even understand the make believe concepts that they’re trying to promulgate.

As far as “real life”, yes, it does work out great when you know what you’re talking about instead of being a bull$hit artist. If you find facts “condescending” that’s on you.

Are you serious guy? The 6.2L was exactly what your saying it was it wasn't. Maybe you should brush up on your ford history.. born in baja is a good start.

It was the halo engine in the halo truck. Not an SVT engine? What are you talking about bro? You have no gen1 Raptor history in that memory bank of yours?

Production engine, cams, tuning, throttle body isn't an SVT engine? You must have came in late..

Maybe you should stop running your mouth about things you don’t understand. The 6.2 was designed for Super Duty to replace the 5.4 3V. That’s it. It had nothing to do with the Raptor, it was simply the largest F-150 engine they had at the time and it had a short run before it was discontinued in ‘14.

I can’t even believe I have to even explain his, but here you are. The 6.2 was not an “SVT” engine. It was never a Raptor exclusive engine. It was available in every other F-150, and it certainly wasn’t a “halo” engine lol.

What are you even talking about? The fact that you’re implying the 6.2 was an “SVT engine” really just reinforces that you’re digging your own grave deeper.

You do understand the gen1 Raptor engine was not the same as one in the super duty, right?

It has different cams, throttle body and tuning to get 411hp vs 385hp in the standard truck versions, correct?

Once again, SVT made their changes to the basic 6.2L truck engine and it almost seems like you don't know about this or you're denying it completely.. either way, it's clear that you hate the 6.2L to the core although it's a great engine and super reliable.

Wow. Once again you’re in denial that you’re wrong yet still have absolutely no idea what you’re even talking about. The 6.2 in G1 was the same 6.2 you could get in every other F-150. It had nothing to do with the Raptor or “SVT”.

Are you related to Sasquatch77? Do even own a G2? Because I can’t imagine an actual G2 owner so fixated on an old discontinued pig iron engine instead of just enjoying the performance of your own vehicle. You’re either lying or you have something seriously wrong with you.

I thought the 6.2 in g1 had a different cam and tune vs other vehicles it shared the motor with. Is that incorrect?

Also, isn’t the 3.5 in the g2 and HO versions just lower compression pistons, revised exhaust manifold, and better materials used in the turbo?

You're wrong buddy. Quit projecting your shortcomings. Do 5 minutes of research and then swallow your wrongness..

Gen1 engine is unique to the SVT Raptor.. will at least 30 people back me up with a like please?

And then you can change your name to Fordtechnumbertwo for not knowing this basic piece of ford raptor history...who even listens to you?

As I said, I don't mind my appliance engine with no soul or personality. It's fine, but everyone around my very pretty truck cringes when it starts, even though the almighty ford said a pcm update would straighten it out... it didn't and now they're going to want to lift the cab off to replace the cam phasers.. pretty sad.
