LMAO. I love this site already... lots of folks with a similar sense of humor.

:)

Glad to hear it. Don't be shy, feel free to cut loose in your posting. You'll find that slightly twisted minds seem to be an abundant asset around here.
...Definitely makes for a good time.

It sounds like I'll need to burn a CD from iTunes and then record that to the truck. If I do that, will I still be able to use the voice command for song play or does the song have to be recorded from the original CD?

Access to it is under the top middle speaker/tray on top of the dash. It is kind of hidden, but it is there. You will need a usb extension cable, and if you can find a usb male on end female other end you will be set and just run it behind the dash down the side and into your glove box or if you are daring, run it into your center console. If you can only find a usb extension cable with a male male on both ends, you will need to add a two side female conversion piece for that to marry to a ipod cable.

After that, you will be able to access that input and it will be USB2 on your media button, or by voice command and speaking "usb2".

I like it because my ipod has a permanent home in glove box, and it is out of the way.

Does the ipod get charged through the USB as well?

Downside to doing this (I've noticed) is when you record the disc and place it in the Nav, it shows up as Unknown Artist - So there would be no way to search for the artist or song.

I have decided to place a lot of my music on a mini pen drive and plug into the USB port hidden in the dash. All my music is there. Only down side, I can't use Voice Commands with it as it's unsupported. :flipthebird:
