COME ON FORD - We've been waiting for 3 months for the build and price. Why announce the damn truck and get everyone's hopes up if you're not going to follow through. Seems like Ford is prioritizing EV's.... This is what happens when you get a bunch of tree hugging liberals at the top.

Yeah, the main banner on Ford homepage was updated to feature the Lightning a few minutes ago.

I also like how Ford put "Something for Everyone" underneath.. clearly a jab at GM over Mary Barra's investor conference call.

You have seen the price list thread, right? I get that the build tool is neat, but really just marketing info. You'll be able to to custom order through the dealer...just like they did before the internet.

Web traffic has no effect on this. Use Apple for example when they update their website before and after a presentation. I mean your talking trillions of people refreshing. LOL

Prior to this year. That website constantly crashed before even getting into WWDC. And lets not even talk about iPhone preorder day. That site crashes on an off year of just XR releases lol

What would the harm have been to let us build simply the exterior color and 35/37 option once pricing came out.

I have a feeling they don't want to take away any spot light from their new Flag Ship truck the Lightning, so anything Raptor might just be silently updated. ?

For me its not the B&P that I'm worried about. But when the B&P tool is up, it will signify another step forward.

No Jab at Ford here, but Tesla Plaid models and Porsche GT Cars (two opposite but anticipated ends of the spectrum I know) released very close to schedule with what was expected and they were Big Model Refreshes.
