If it's a forced induction V8 than the V8 will cost more and resell for more. If it's just the same n/a V8 that you can get in practically any other F150 like the Jen1 engine was, than the HO Ecoboost will resell for more.

ya i wouldnt put any money on that

i guarantee you that the advantage the jen 2's will have will be the 3.0's, vs the 2.5's the gen 1s have not so much the hp and torque ratings, the exhaust note is like a hot woman with annoying voice, for the first six months you dont even notice her voice, after 6 months thats all youll hear is that damn annoying voice. seriously, if the v8 was an option on the raptor how many v6's do you think would be sold

It will probably be like the 5.4's, eventually they'd cut out the v6 option due to lack of interest and they'll become the black sheep of the gen2 world when it comes to resale. In my opinion if Ford didn't have plans for a v8 they would have come out and said so, they know it's money out of their pocket if people are waiting for something that will never exist.

The TTV8 will make Raptor great again.

Just giving my opinion. I still think it is a great truck, just not for me.

And for the guys that mentioned Hillary Clinton and being liberal, pm your address. I can come over and show you my shrapnel scars from Afghanistan if you would like. Thanks for the Happy Veterans Day!

Plenty. Just look at the TQ curves between the 6.2 and the HO 3.5.

If you want a v-8, they make 4x4 v-8s. Save money, put on the fenders and an even better suspension. What's the problem? I want the best 6, hence, raptor.
