Wrapping Fender Flares?

The biggest issue I found with wrap is that it is near impossible, that I found, to color match your paint. If you wrap - you need to do the whole vehicle.

that was my fear and why i just decided to have it painted.

I wonder if anyone has wrapped, then painted the wrap. Why not both?
Typically the best way to go but more expensive. Paint match the flare then throw some self healing expel (or film of your choice) on there. I haven't seen a wrap that looked truly color matched. But maybe the tech is getting better
