What is this connector for?

I recently had the doors painted due to vandalism and the dealership was a little lax in reassembling everything. The linkage for the lock barrel was disconnected for example. I had the panel off to replace a missing bolt for the window channel (Their handy work as well) and when I removed the speaker there was a wiring harness that was pinched under it. I assume they didn’t notice it so it never got connected. I’m curious if you guys know what it goes to. I plugged it in but I hadn’t noticed any switches not working prior. Thanks!

i believe it has to do with the door trigger. i think yellow purple is drivers door trigger.

its what tells the vehicle that the door is open.

It also functions like an upfitter switch should you decide to mount 50 cal. machine guns in each fender right below the head lights.
