These guys @svc did a great job and also installed my swarfworks shock guard. Only waited 2.5 hours and all went smoothly. Thanks Jeff and his team @svc and Chris over @OffroadAlliance.com for a great price as usual.

Pulled some stuff out of it before I drop it off for cam phaser TSB, valve cover TSB, and diagnosis of some weird whistle that i have from the rear end from 48-52 MPH while my foot's on the gas.

Picked it up from the dealership last Friday for a Cam Phaser replacement service... discovered yesterday that I now have an oil leak somewhere from that service... Going back to the dealership tomorrow for them to address.

Finally got around to removing the stickers on the bed. Never did care for them but it was built into the cost of the truck. Was a little worried that after 36000 miles it would have been more difficult to remove. Stickers peeled with no heat. About 10 min of running the adhesive out with goo gone and then running a couple passes with some correcting polish. 161A72E6-C5FD-4330-A0C3-51DBD0300626.jpeg

We left Moab on Monday and are now in Sparks, NV. We will be here until Monday when we head for Winchester Bay, OR.

We drove up to Pyramid Lake and went all the way out to the Needles area. At the end the area is closed but we could see the steam geyser, we just couldn't get close to it. Then we drove all the way around the lake to get to the "pyramid" but that area is closed to all but the Indians. I guess some idiots defaced some sacred stuff and the Indians closed it, and I don't blame them. I just wish they had told us it was closed 20 miles earlier.

This winter some idiots defaced "birthing rock" in Moab and the locals were pissed, and I don't blame them either.Trail 1.jpgTrail 2.jpgTrail 3.jpgTrail 4.jpg

Spent two days in the Idaho backcountry with my dad. He’s getting up there in age and while he’s not too mobile, he loves dirt roads in Idaho. I think we covered about 200 dirt miles. Shocks need a rebuilt. They are toast. Good thing I had struts and shocks delivered while I was gone. 0F2F1543-2E7D-4090-A8A1-6AC0504B468D.jpeg3DF574B7-3016-410B-9DD4-7D486347EA64.jpegF97785C1-D56C-4DAF-A5BA-A315321EB8A6.jpeg0127B549-AEE4-4472-8980-AB2D03CC6E54.jpeg813B4D6B-E30D-4B7D-86E9-1D9109999325.jpeg
