That happened to a friend of mines F150. He was driving down the highway and he noticed smoke billowing out the rear. He pulled over and WOOOHHHFF! The fire was coming out from under the front wheel wells. He jumped out and the whole truck was fully engulfed in just a few minutes. Burned it down to the frame just like that photo.

It is sincerely a sad loss. I am thankful that he was able to get out. Remind your friend that a truck can be replaced.

What year and model? There supposedly is an issue with Gen 1 6.2 Raptors burning due to engine fires, but not much info available.
37s!!!!!!!! Finished the mods to the liners (a temporary fix till I get my new ones from Advanced) and got them to fit. Decided to go with Fuel Cleavers 17x9 +1 with a 5.0 backspace. The clearance is tight on the front but no issues at all with road driving till the new fenders (2" out 2" up) get here with the liners then it won't be an issue. I wanted to thank everyone on the forum that provides valuable insight and advice on the rims and all the great info on the pinch welds mod!! I'll be ordering my front bumper tonight (Evill Offroad) so will post those pics when I get it in!
