Had somebody hit my truck and run a few days back. Those stock running boards are a ton stronger than I expected and way more expensive...

Drove it from Galesburg, IL to Pine Bluff, AR. 663 miles total. Every time I take a long trip in this truck, I love it just a little more. 96k+ miles and no rattles or squeaks, steering is still tight as new, and it just rides........good. Sure it was a long day behind the wheel (10 hours total) but I wasn't even a little bit stiff or sore from sitting in it all day. Can't imagine getting rid of this thing for a while.

And that big ol V8 at WOT with the Dirty Deeds Exhaust - it get's some wide-eyed attention when passing those pesky little Prius drivers.....lol

Looks great! I got the one with the top hoop. Went back and forth trying to decide. Hope I don't regret it. The hood wrap looks awesome too. Think I'll do that next if I can find a place close.

Thank you! I didn't want to the hoop but after I got it I kinda wish I did get the loop to protect the lights. The hood is actually painted, I was gonna get the wrap after the plastidip started fading. Unfortunately someone managed to hit my truck breaking my grill and hood so free paint job lol.

Very nice! Think I'll pass on the crash and just go with the wrap. Lol

The bumper looks perfect. Great color truck

What kind of prep work are you doing before applying the POR15, Chris?

Mainly all I do is clean the truck well, use a wire wheel to knock off any loose flaky rust and then apply the POR15 by hand with a brush. It actually bonds better to what the manufacturer refers to as "seasoned metal and rust" so you don't want to remove all the rust, etc. If the metal isn't already rusted, etc, you don't want to use POR15 because it won't stick well and will flake off. On trucks like the white one in the shop now, I am only hitting the rear differential housing, axles, tie rods and spindles with the POR15 and coating everything else with Amsoil MPHD heavy duty metal protector.

Perfect! I was dreading trying to clean every nook and cranny. I get carried away when it comes to cleaning. I've got a couple cans of the Amsoil stuff too.
