I live in Phoenix. 120 degree days are frequent in the summer. Does anyone have engine heat issues in hot weather?

I wonder if Dodge tested the TRX in the same way, or they just threw a monster motor in and called it a day?

apparently they did.
You are probably onto something there! Bet that thing pops a rad or two out there this summer. Would like to see a TRX make it through Furnace Creek Ranch in the summer.

I live in Phoenix as well and last summer was one of the hottest on record. No issues. I do run a couple of gallons of E85 in the summer months though (per tuner's suggestion).

No, haven't had any issues. Did take the plate mount off the front bumper though. A/C will cost you at least a MPG.
