What load range or ply are the stock tires? And the side wall? This is important to me because in my area most of us have to run 10-ply. . . Lot of rock breaks! Soon to have a Raptor ordered, hopefully.

I need best tires for desert sand , sandy big DUNES with nothing else but sand... What do you recommend ?

Also would you save weight if you increase wheel size say 20" and have tire size of 37-38 as compared to our 17" wheels 35" tires ?

Good post WarSurfer very useful info. When you talk about the Baja T/A's are you talking about these
bfg-02516_w.jpg

Or the Projects
baja-t-a.jpg

The reason I ask is because I've lifted a few of the projects before and I remember them being heavy as shit. Also, I've had a few buddies who have run projects and they didn't last that long on the street. Great in the dirt, but basically like driving on bricks from what I remember after driving their trucks.

I was just on the BFG website and the Baja TAs (match the top pic) are listed at 63.8 lbs for the 35" size. Pretty much the same weight as the TAs that are stock.

Does anyone know if they changed them? I would consider if 10 lbs lighter than stock but being based in AZ I see no reason to get them over the stock tire.
