Those with Recon style headlights...

Got the smoked lights from recon just the other day. Wish i would have seen this post first. The halos are very very dim. Everything else is ok but the halos suck balls. I am trying to talk with the recon people but it seems i can only get one or two emails from them over a few days. I have hooked this up just like they said got 12v going to the lights and still very dim. Any ideas? Very dim about half way up to the top

its not a voltage problem, I thought the same thing. they are not real ccfl's, they're just a glass tube with a led in the bottom.

Unfortunately if you want to replace them you have to open the headlights like I did.
