Here's an interesting piece of info...put my vin into that decoder and for fuel
Type it says "flexible". Now unless I missed something on here up till now the 6.2's in the superdutys were flex but not in the raptors. Did something change for '13?

Sierra, I've seen that also in the Raptor Supplement manual on ford's support page. It says....

"OCTANE RECOMMENDATIONS
Regular unleaded gasoline with a
pump (R+M)/2 octane rating of 87 is
recommended.."

Also says...

"Fuels with octane levels below 87 are not
recommended. Premium fuel will provide improved performance and is
recommended for severe duty usage such as trailer tow."

FINALLY! Just called SVT and my order got pulled last night and scheduled for the week of 11/5.




And I called my dealer to tell them the news and they were like "how do you know that? Let me check. You are correct. And I have your VIN". Good times!

Build Date is 11-05-12 with a VIN # 1FTFW1R62DFA65215

VIN doesnt seem to be in the windows sticker system yet, but it might take a bit longer for that.

Some progress is better than no progress.

Yeah, I was really thinking more of typically running 89, which is $.10 more than the 87. Typically it's $.10 between grades, and most places here are 87-89-92/93

Called SVT and have a build date of Oct 25th!!!

Ordered August 3rd - DORA August 6th - Wheel liners removed from order Sept 28th - VIN from Blood (thanks!!!) on Oct 9th - build date from SVT Oct 25th - ETA of Nov 5th.

I don't think she'll make the Nov 5th ETA and still no Window sticker yet.
