GEN 1 Suspension Guru's: FOX 2.5 FRONT SHOCKS 2010 VS 2011-2014

So all of the on-line parts sources list a different front FOX 2.5 shock for the 2010 models compared to the 2011-2014 !

Any suspension guru's - Is there really a difference, or FORD just update part numbers ??

2010:



2011-2014:

The 2010 use an O-ring and a wiper seal in the top cap. 2011+ use 2 wiper seals. Thats the only difference i've seen.

the 2010 are older..... by at least a year.

All 2010's are scabs also, the screw was introduced in 2011.

ahhhh i didn't know the 2010 were only SCABs. The valving will be slightly different as well.
