Shake well before use

I was working in the heat a couple days ago and got overheated, so we go to town to get some refreshments. Wonderful wifey hands me a nice cold bottle of Gatorade and I give it a shake like I always do......................SHIT!!!........Gatorade everywhere. Until now she has always left the lid on when handing me anything because of her arthritis, so I blame this on her .

Now I have sticky knobs and buttons (insert raunchy comment here) in the entire center section of the dash and console.

I have had the center console mostly apart before but don't know how to remove the center stack trim cover. Anybody have a how-to remove center stack trim?

How to remove buttons and knobs too, please??

Any ideas on cleaning the switches?

The last ditch effort will be to disconnect the battery and hose the whole thing out and let it dry for a week or four.
