Scottsdale drive - September

Good time today. Great to meet you guys, sorry we had to turn back. Home now, and hosed most of the mud off the truck. The flight we need to meet at sky harbor has been delayed over an hour and a half, so we could have followed for the whole run.

The map is posted on the first page of this thread. Take Cave Creek road north east until it turns into the dirt road FR24. The first 3/4 of this drive, on FR24 before the turn, is similar to the trail we took to Wickenburg. Not too rough and a good amount of turns. Even a nice jump where you can get 1 foot of air at 50MPH. On this road, I average 35 to 60 most of the time. After the turn the road gets rough, rocky and slower. Not nearly as much fun. I think this is my current favorite drive. The only down side is there are quite a few other vehicles on the road and blind corners you have to be careful on.

Once you hit the dirt, you can make it to the T in the road in about 45 min. Let me know ahead of time if you are going. I am up to join if I am around.

We hit the jump headed out. Don't hit the jump headed back in faster the 20 MPH because it nose dives. I hit it at 40MPH backwards last time, and the front landed hard I was expecting it to not drive straight, but it was fine.

I can't attach it in an email. It is 49MB. I can put it on a CD for you the next time we go on a drive.

I would like to. Maybe in a few weeks we can plan another. I just did the deaver +1 springs yesterday and the ride seems worse on the street. Your's improved when you added these, right?

went back out there on black friday, the jump has gotten a bit sketchy. It kicked the truck much more to the driver's side, even at a slower speed than before. If you go again, hit it cautiously the first time.
