Even in manual at a certain rev the truck will auto shift up, so you dont grenade it

It will not auto shift in manual, just sit on the rev limiter.

Factory I believe around 5800, mine is at 6200 now.

The pistons in these 6.2 engines are the weak link as they are cast and not forged. I have worried a little about busting a piston skirt, but now have 30,000 miles on this with the supercharger. Was planning to build a stroker partly because of this, so guess sort of waiting if something does break, then will do it.
