Rear Locker

New here so sorry if this is a repeat. Can the rear locker on Raptors be engaged without being in 4x4? Thanks for any info...…….

Yep, Off Road Mode, engage locker. Gen1 at least works like that.

To be fair, you don't have to engage ORM. You can just pull the dial to engage the locker.

Correct. The Gen2 does not support locking the rear diff when in 2H. Here is a screenshot from the manual supplement.

That’s what I really liked about my gen 1
They Musta had too many failures under warranty and didn’t put that feature into gen 2
If I would’ve known that going in I might not have purchased my GEN 2

Maybe I am not reading chat correctly, but max engagement 4L at 55mph??? I wouldn't even think about going that fast in 4l...

With reference to the Diff locker, I have found from my experience that all modes above ,and including Weather Mode(all wheel drive similar to Subaru) one can engage the above.
Over sand dune country, i love this Weather Mode,i tap on the diff lock and disengage Traction Control. What a Blast!You will find that you will never need 4X4 as often.
You won't need to exceed the 30kms (cutoff) anyway.

easy fix, upgrade to a currie with an ARB.
