What do you want to bet that one will be bought by an outfit that immediately clones it for domestic sale?
They would NEVER do that!!! I got a good promotion when I was younger because while I was working at an international trade show for a big equipment manufacturer, I told a group of Chinese pr icks that were attempting to partially disassemble some of our stuff RIGHT IN THE BOOTH to take pictures, to get the f uck out of my booth! The CEO loved that I yelled at them and told them off. Everybody but me was ignoring them! He was tired of having pus s ies around him.

American mfg.'s really need to have direct sales and have service centers that perform warranty & service work, selling parts, upgrades and gear. The old "dealership" model is not going to fly in the near future. First mfg. to figure that out will win big. Go in configure your vehicle, pick it up when it comes in and take it there for service and upgrades. That IS going to be the future. Jump on it or get left behind.. Ya listening Ford?

So you want to order a Raptor from a vending machine and have it delivered to your door? :driver:

It will literally take an act of Congress at the state level to have Ford and other vehicle manufacturers completely bypass the dealerships and sell DTC. Dealerships are protected by law in most states. That's why Tesla had so much trouble selling in the U.S. Some of the states were and I believe still are pushing back hard and not allowing it.

To be honest I absolutely hate going to a dealership anymore, I feel like it's a casino as its all rigged and it's in the favor of the house.
