Ethanol free much better even if lower octane.

90 octane ethanol free better for your truck than 93 octane regular

Run the highest octane you can. Modern fuel injection systems do not have the same issues with gumming up as carbs do, nor do they have the immediate issues running E15, which was responsible for the death of many small engines. While ethanol is a less energy dense fuel compared to gasoline, it has a higher octane rating, and burns hotter. However, the fuel you buy at any reputable seller has been blended specifically for on-road trucks and passenger vehicles, so there is no detriment to running it.
