Pre Collision Volume

I've read the manual and search this forum, but can't find the answer....

Is it possible to change the volume of the pre-collision alerts? I have mine set to "alert only", and the alert is so quiet I barely notice it on a good day. With the windows down, there's no way I'd ever hear it.
