Once before on another trip about two week ago and now again while on the highway going around 80-85 mph the truck began to shake and shutter, then the check engine light began blinking once reducing speed to 65 mph it stopped. I began to increase my speed again and it started up for the second time this trip. I lowered my speed till it stopped and now I’ve had it cruising between 78-79 mph with no issues. When this happened before I took it to a Ford dealer they said there was no code left behind for them to be able to know what happened. Now it’s happening again. Has anyone else’s as this issue and what happened, fixes, etc? Thank you. 2020 Ford Raptor twin turbo

Welcome to the place. Hows the battery? I've heard the electronics on the Gen 2s are very sensitive to battery voltage. Maybe monitor your sensors when it happens, high temp, etc?

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure I haven’t looked at them much when it happens yet! But I will definitely check them when it happens again. At the moment all sensors are showing normal. For some reason it’s when ever I go 80 or over. It’s fine cursing at 79.

If it happens everytime you go over 80, a Ford tech should be able to identify the issue. Any chance you have mice damage to your wiring?

Maybe a Ford pass admin key function? I forget what is called but you can limit speeds to certain drivers from going over the speed limit. The limit is 80mph. Maybe a previous owner programmed that key to be limited?

I’m assuming it’s when it’s 80 or over that seems to be the trigger “knock on wood” as long as I have been staying 79 or under it hasn’t done it. When we get someplace we can stop I’ll check for any mice issue it’s a possibility. The two times it’s happened of course we’re on the road to go some where of distance.

What does it say when it starts cursing?

wheel balance, electrical issues causing a coil to shut down and throwing the engine out of balance, maybe a frame weight is loose or missing, maybe fuel delivery related, could also just be any loose connection that just to happens to vibrate just enough when the truck hits 80mph..

maybe be none of the above but just giving ideas.
