i forgot to mention, make sure to use a voltmeter to test for wires. it will show (-) when the door is open and can show nothing or (+) when the dome lights turn off. given the computers in cars now days, if you just tap into the wrong wire you can blow up an ecu, or bcm or pcm etc..etc..
