major issues with bak box 2 and no replys from your email.....

    Problem was resolved and all is corrected. Glad that Morrie/Bak took care of this!!!!!

    New BakBox2 Design

    Hi Jon:
    I am shocked to hear your comments on the BakBox2 and our lack of response to your E-mail. We at BakFactoryOutlet pride ourselves on our speedy and thorough customer service. I looked in our database and could not find a Jon R., so I do not believe you purchased your BakBox 2 from BakFactoryOutlet.com. There are several other sites with similar names. Please check your records, and If you did purchase from us, then please contact me directly about your issues.

    Finally, I am sorry that you do not like the new BakBox2. We have had nothing but rave reviews about the new design. Thanks, Morrie:pepper::pepper::pepper:

    WHO DID YOU BUY THE BAK BOX FROM?

    If you didn't buy it from BAK Factory Outlet please:

    1. Contact the company you bought it from and tell THEM
    2. Delete your post or the text in your post (above) or, better yet, contact an Admin on this forum and ask them to remove your post / thread as Bak Factory Outlet doesn't deserve to have you posting negative feedback about a product you didn't buy from them.

    But really Jon, if Morrie sold you the Bak Box2 you should expect unmatched customer service. If you didn't, Morrie has excellent connections with the factory and should be able to help you out.

    the reason you cant find it is because you spelt my name wrong. First name is Jon, not John as you have it on my order.

    I am the gentleman you talked to regarding the discoloration and glue issues on the F1 - and was the one who had the bak box shipping delayed.

    Morrie - I sent you two emails to [email protected], one regarding getting a bedrug on 9/9/2013, which was never returned so i purchased it elsewhere, and the other was regarding the bak box which was sent 9/14/2013 with the pictures showing the misalignment of the holes. granted the last was on a weekend, but i expected a reply during working hours today and received nothing.

    no worries randy. still more pissed off that i couldnt buy the truck from you.


    i like the F1, just wish the fit and finish was better. I had to do some major adjustments to the latch on the second to last panel to get it to latch and unlatch. that same panel also looked like it was separating from the aluminum crossbar, but that gap seems to have closed up after being in the heat here in az. and the panel closest to the tailgate has two spots that are discolored, but i cant capture them in a photograph. and then another panels had bright yellow glue over one of the aluminum cross bars. most of that was able to be chipped off since it has dried out more.

    Return of BakBox2

    Jon: You wrote to me on the weekend, and Its Monday for crying out loud. Before running to the Forum to complain, a phone call today would have been appreciated. Everybody on this forum knows how reachable I am. If you are unsatisfied with your BakBox, which you seem to be, then I will arrange for a pickup and an immediate refund.

    If our service is not responsive enough for you, then there are plenty of other options, which you exercised, with your purchase of the BedRug from another dealer. I don't build Bak's products, but I do fix things when they go wrong. I have no hard feelings whatsoever, just a request for a reasonable amount of time to respond to your needs.     i understood that it was the weekend - but i expected a reply back during working hours today and that didnt happen.

    I also remember you taking my order personally on a sunday night.

    i know that you are very responsive to customers, but i tried to get a hold of you for the bedrug and got no reply. when i didnt get any feedback today, i posted up here. Its funny how companies love it when they get positive feedback, but when theres an issue the customer is made out to be the ass.

    and are you shocked by my comments about the bak box, or are you shocked that the holes didnt line up? because to me my comments were only about the holes not lining up, and regarding how it functions and mounts to the f1.

    im not gonna stalk you, sending repeated emails and multiple phone calls - to make sure i'm heard. one email should suffice.

    look forward to hearing from you tomorrow.
