first ford ever, how would you the owners rate your trucks for making it 200 -250 k miles? I am impresses with the v-6 and love the trick. Just wonder if this os going to be a short term thing. Thoughts please?

Sure, but that depends how you use it, drive it and maintain it.

And any vehicle can go 200K, just depends on your appetite for replacing parts.

I bought a Ford Lightning in 2003 and always drove it hard. Changed oil every 3000 miles until 100K then moved to a 5000 mile oil change schedule. When I sold it in 2016 it had just over 300,000 miles on it with no engine or transmission work ever needed. Hopefully my 2018 Raptor can come close to that. 6000 miles down, 294,000 to go.

Scan craiglist for F-150s with 250k miles and you will find plenty. Like anything, if you are willing to maintain it, it will last a long time. Other people don't even own cars long enough to wear out a set of tire. It's all about your priorities.

I own a large Construction Company and have a fleet of (60) 1/2 ton and (20) 3/4 ton Ford Trucks & Vans. I run them to 200,000 miles. We stick to a strict maintenance schedule of 5000 mile oil-changes & tire rotations. Brake pads and brake fluid (yearly) or every 30,000 mile.
Once a year a mobile detail company does the outsides for me.

My only gripe is the Recalls..... messes with our schedule.

Love my Fords!

that makes me feel better, loving my raptor but the recalls were scaring the dog poo out of me ! I have 6700 miles now, fixing to schedule my latest recall, oil has been changed 3 times already. Once at 900 miles, once at 3500 and last one done a few weeks ago. Took it on 4200 mile trip to raptor school and sight seeing the west.

Good info, there are not too many real high mileage Gen2s. With my commute I’ll be driving 20-25k per year, so it would be nice to get some insight on how the truck as a whole holds up, as the bumper to bumper and powertrain warranty would run out really quick

I don’t see any good reason the 3.5 wouldn’t be reliable year after year. Especially with the improvements on this generation of the motor. Ford engineers are genius level folks from what I can tell, so a fair amount of trust should be given
