They do if you pay for the extra coverage, provide receipts, etc.
Mine paid for extras after I provided receipts. Mine was for total loss not a wreck. The whole process took 5 weeks. Before dealing with insurance on this I used to think who cares if my truck gets stolen it’s insured. After this mess I’ll do whatever I can to prevent having to deal with insurance ever again. I was heavily insured with a big name company and it was still a nightmare.

Insurance companies are like casinos, they like to take your money but don’t like to pay out.

Of course it was. Do whatever it takes to protect the truck. A kill switch is the best. The ravelco is a pretty high end kill switch and a good choice. Especially if you got the $100 off deal I posted.

I think it's YMMV when it comes to insurance and your adjuster. I have Gieco and they've been great and have settled all my claims in about a 1-2 weeks. Never been an issue. It might change in the future but so far...I dont care if it get's stolen.

Geico is one of the worst insurance companies. They have more bad faith cases than any other company combined.

I've been with them since 2013 and never have had an issue. 2 totaled cars, 1 stolen car and 3 accidents with the family.

Like I said, YMMV. They've been a lot better to my family than Allstate ever was.

My mileage definitely varied lol. I’ve been with USAA for 25 years and this was my first auto claim. They certainly didn’t treat me like a “member”. They made every step of the process take 2-3 days more than it should have. Payout was 10 days after they made me return rental car. In the end their payout number was fair, but 33 days from the claim date is a long time when you are without a vehicle. I was able to upgrade to a 37PP but I miss my lead foot gray.

Are you talking about Gieco or USAA? I'm confused.
