I have a Gen2 Raptor - 2018. My key fobs do not work (yes I changed the batteries) and took out all possible interfering devices (phone charges, converters, etc) info cluster still shows “No Ket Detected” on both Admin keys.

My TPM is throwing a fault as well. I’m unable to reset the TPM after several attempts. Brought the truck to a wide open parking lot and attempted on front left tire - didn’t work.

I checked all possible fuses.
This one has me guessing, any ideas?

Oh and my warranty ran out in Dec. 2020- I never extended it. Hopefully I can figure this out and then get additional coverage from the motor back.

Looking for help.

Sounds like the Radio Transceiver Module (RTM) is offline; it receives the TPMS signals as well as the PATS signal from the key. The RTM is powered by fuse F32 in the BCM. Do you have ForScan?

Thanks for jumping in FordTech
No I do not have ForScan. But, I can get it just tell me what I have to do.

I pulled F32 - it’s good. I’ve also read a low 12V may cause the issue I have it charging now. Rang in at a 12.48V on the voltmeter so I’m not sure that’s it either.

If voltage was insufficient you’d have more than one module affected. Modules with high amperage draw (electric steering, ABS, etc.) will tend to be affected first. Once you have ForScan, you’ll want to start by running a network test.

Soon to be back with findings.
I could tell my old school methods just wouldn’t cut it here.

Thanks for the help.

Received the hardware, downloaded FORScan and DTC Codes associated are:
B124D:02-8A - TPM
B1182:00-08 TPM System
U0258:87-48- Lost communication with Radio Transceiver

Additional Fault Symptom:
Missing Message

I rechecked the fuses and all good.
Where do you think we go from here.

Let me know when you can.
I appreciate all the help.

Sounds like the RTM is offline; that will cause the DTCs that you haven setting as well as your symptom. You'll want to proceed by running a network test with ForScan to see if the RTM passes. Note that it may also be called a TPM within the scan tool.

Ran RTM came back clear no codes.
Ran TPM scan and it came back system failure.

TPM Vehicle Status - Parked
Attached are the tests I’m able to run.

I’m not seeing TPM in your picture, but based on what you've said, it sounds like ForScan may be calling the RTM a TPM. You can also view log/configuration/modules under the icon of the car with the “i”. All modules that pass the network test will be displayed with their information.

Ok. So this is what is shown under DTCs when all Modules are ran.

I don’t know what the reason is behind U0258. Only says RTM - miss communication.
