Removed mine within the first week of getting the truck. I'm sure I saved it, but don't recall exactly where at the present time.

Due to rock chips or does the windshield crack when jumping?

Mine was cracked in Mexico, a tree knocked the antenna into the glass.
I drove it that way for 6 months and the crack never spread, I was very surprised.

I'm on my third windshield cause of chips from rocks, I-94 here is Michigan is hell on glass!

I replaced my rear view mirror with a Homelink version. Cracked the windshield in the process...
