Before you spray up the MAF, disconnect the neg battery terminal for a about 15 mins so you force the PCM into a new learning cycle.

I also would go through the filter to spray and not try to remove the MAF from the tube, those screws are not the greatest.
Do not try to dry or wipe the MAF let the cleaner do it's thing, doesn't take much spraying.
