$400 to raise the perch? Damn I am in the wrong business. The small spring compressors needed can be had for under $50. Some basic hand tools and a little time. Very easy mod to do. Great way to learn more about your truck.

My Ford dealer wanted $400. When my truck comes in, I'm taking it to my tire and brake guy for way less than that which includes an alignment!

That's nuts! The only way that I could see it costing that much is if you're going to the top perch and you have to completely remove the shock assembly.
