ok blue, there is really no model number for the relay because so many manufacturers make them, but if you can, go with bosch.

since you are using a magnetic reed switch, this is how you should wire it

because two wires go to the same power source you can just jump it like i did.

the reed switch has 2 wires coming out. one goes to ground, the other to the relay.

try to find these connectors

yep it will work. their wiring diagram is a little bit different, but in your situation it will work the same. usually 30 is always an output, but since 87a is not being used it doesnt make a difference.

they are exactly the same as the other one except that it does not have the socket assembly. you can go to the nearest auto parts store and pick up a relay. all of those style relays are 30amp and hav no difference other than manufacturer
